Bored to the bone
It’s strange… being bored at work. I’ve had a tough week, a few 12 hour days, and enough running around to make me sore like I used to be after playing a killer game of basketball, and then going and cheering for the boys afterwards… so being only moderately busy today… makes me quite bored.
This blog entry has begun as a result. I’m still making calls. I’m still writing emails. I’m still running errands. I’m just writing a blog. An innocent little BLOG.
You see, this week, a blog allowed me to nail one of my best friends to the wall so I could thusly blackmail him for free pizza. He has so many secrets that are revolting, painfully pathetic, mentally deluded, with no societal purpose (except, perhaps to give credit where credit is due- to detract from it), and dirty– So let’s just say… I get lots of free stuff. I’m working on a PSP next.
Hm. Next item: have you ever saw something about to happen, like it was slow motion, but for some reason even though you have the sense to stop it… you let it go on anyway? I did this. I allowed a train wreck… for no other reason than to punish myself so to keep from allowing it to happen ever again.
Recognizable: Ever see a fella and are like, “Man, I recognize that guy… but where have I seen him.. Character actor? No… damn. Can’t place him…” I had a screening for JQ this week that went really well. I realized the guy I didn’t recognize was a producer with whom I worked on my first feature (as production manager). Boy did I feel silly.
Questions of the week: If pigeons eat chicken, are they cannibals? What’s Michael Jackson up to? What did I ever do to you?
Cute boys of the week: Tek Serve. On the J train reading Harry Potter. Or visiting the office.
Coming up: editing some Fairy Tail tonight in Bay Ridge, working on the script for my short, mopping the floor, filing, installing software… I’ll stop now since so far I really sound like the nerd I am. Wow.
Happy Birthday, Stephanie.
