pop a pill
Worried about nudity, violence, and dirty words in the movies and television? Who wants to see that crap, right? I do! Granted, I much prefer to see a bunch of naked bodies than dead ones, but I find the above much easier to live with than some of the other things readily legal and practically unregulated.
Check it out—every other commercial is telling you to pop a pill every time you feel a pain somewhere. Every other product is telling you how much cooler you can be by consuming or wearing it.
Every girl on TV is slim and generically attractive (unless they are a “before” photo on a diet commercial). I know you might be tired of hearing about this one, but it is true: we all make a conscious note if a girl is overweight. I do it too.
All of these “subliminal” messages bother me more than the obvious. Conformity is the message. Be a puppet. Be apathetic. It will make your life easier to just submit and ask no questions in the process. That way, you won’t cause problems. Sacrifice your self-dignity, self-respect and compromise your principles. You won’t have time to think for yourself because your are preoccupying your time with your looks or other recreational practices.
Assumably, you see no problem here since you are also a mindless moron. We are all focusing on the wrong things. A culturally defined cuss-word will do less damage to a person than a commercially defined drug or body type.
